You’d like to know more about the aptly named Crap Comics. I salute you. Let’s break it down.

The Premise

Crap Comics is about two friends: Mike and Dave. Mike and Dave used to live in a share house together while they were at university. Since that time, Mike has graduated from law school and is a lawyer. Dave has gone to the nation’s most prestigious dramatic institute and lives in a cardboard box. No, I kid. It’s like a corrugated cardboard box.

The Characters

Name: Mike Age: 27 Occupation: Lawyer Mike is married to Rui. Rui lives in Japan. Mike lives in Australia. While he’s in Australia, Mike lives with his parents.

Name: Dave Age: 26 Occupation: Director Dave is Mike’s best friend. Mike is not Dave’s best friend. Mike can drive a car, though, and until that changes he will always have a place in Dave’s heart.

Name: Ghost Dave Age: 26 Occupation: Ghost Ghost Dave lives in Japan. How he exists is not entirely clear but Mike can see and communicate with him.

Name: Terence Age: Unknown Occupation: Unknown When Mike and Dave lived together, Terence was third roommate. During the entirety of their time together Terence never left his room. Ever.

Absolutely. Everything in the comic really happened.

Not a question but quite possibly the case. Since I am not paid to do this, I make each comic after I come home from work. Sometimes I’m tired.

Q. Why don’t you just write them in advance and then schedule WordPress to publish them?
Why don’t you just go make your own comic?

Q. Will I one day be able to buy some sort of collected edition of all the comics for a ludicrous price?
