Shameless Plug for My Wife

Rui had been bugging me for quite a while to make her a web site and so over the last break I did my best to hack together something with WordPress that would suffice. The result is now live at rubikus.net.
What’s there? Not a whole lot at the moment. Rui’s put up a couple of blog entries and intends to do so with some regularity in the future. I have my doubts about how likely that is but I’m supposed to be encouraging so I’ll just say I hope she’s able to keep it up.
The big thing I did was to thread together WordPress with her Flickr account. You can just go to Flickr and enjoy it all there but it’s now also present in her Works and Curated sections. And check out that funky lightbox effect. That’s never gonna get old!
(It just occurred to me I should point out she’s a jeweller. The photo above is from her latest series.)
